Science shows that drinking beer in the shower is healthy for you!
Researchers from the University of Illinois have observed the habits of 40 men and they found that a man becomes more creative when he had a blood alcohol content of about .075. It seems like a drink or two is exactly what you need to get the creative juices flowing.
Yes, alcohol makes you more creative and smarter, if you consume it in small quantities. Multiple studies on moderate alcohol consumption have shown that it helps the neurons in your brain “[protect] against the development of dementia in Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases.”
And not just alcohol makes us more creative, but showers does also! Alice Flaherty, one of the most renowned neuroscientists researching creativity, says that the key of creativity is dopamine. Increased dopamine levels (which get released while having fun and stress-relieving activities like taking a shower, exercising etc.) makes us feel relaxed and great, and therefore, we become more creative and we manage to have more great ideas.
