Emeritus Dubai, which is constantly looking for new records, announced on Sunday the inauguration of the world’s tallest hotel, which is 356 meters high, according to a Twitter message from the local government’s information office.
Gevora Hotel, located on Sheikh Zayed Boulevard, cut down one meter to the previous record in the field, belonging to a neighboring hotel whose height is 355 meters.
That building, which belongs to the hotel chain Marriott, also broke down the record of another hotel, Rose Rayhaan (333 meters) of the Rotana chain, located in the same neighborhood in Dubai.
Gevora Hotel is a 75-story tower, painted in gold. According to The National, the hotel has four restaurants, a swimming pool, a luxury spa and a gym. First customers are expected to arrive on Monday.
