Need to lose weight? This is how 100 calories look like in your plate

An average woman needs to eat about  1500 calories to lose one pound of weight per week, while an average man needs 2000.

Nutrition research is showing that when it comes to weight loss, the number of the calories are not so important as the source where you get them from.

A 2016 study published in the journal Food Science and Nutrition found that the number of calories consumed was not able to predict how full the participants felt after snacking.
